Golfers, it’s time to tee-off for a worthy cause

Show your support for the children at Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre's annual golf day.

THE Malvern Child and Youth Care Centre will host its annual golf day on Thursday, 29 September at the Royal Durban Golf Club. This is a fantastic opportunity for golfers and companies to get involved and help raise much needed funds for 120 orphaned and vulnerable children while enjoying a break from the office to network with business partners, colleagues and friends on the golf course.

Among the prizes up for grabs is an exciting two-night getaway to Selborne Hotel, which includes two-rounds of golf and two spa treatments. There will be prizes for Nearest To The Pin, the Longest Drive and to add to the fun, golfers will be able to cash in on Mulligans when in need.

“The funds raised this year will go towards our education support programme, which ensures that our children have uniforms, stationery, books and sport kits in order to reach their full potential at school so we urge all golfers and companies to support us in making this day a great success,” said PR and fundraising manager, Lee Jarrett.

The cost of the four-ball is R1 800 which includes green fees, a buffet dinner and prize giving. Companies are able to sponsor a hole and promote their products and services on the day as well. For an entry form or to sponsor a hole, contact Lee Jarrett on 031 464 0236, 082 920 2142 or e-mail her at lee@mchome.co.za.
