FAMILY, friendship and team spirit are the key values at Pinetown Raiders Rugby Club. This has once again been proven through a donation of rugby jerseys from long-term club members.
Ian and Stoltz Steyn become this year’s sponsors for the club as Stoltz has proudly watched his sons play for Pinetown and later joined the club in a management role. “Ian Steyn has played for the club for many years and still shows the youngsters a thing or two,” said Leigh McNeill, the club chairman.
With the sponsorship from the Steyn family, the club could purchase new jerseys for both the starting XV and extra XV teams as well as gazebos for the Raiders or visiting teams and the medics and new pole protectors. “The club management team is very thankful to this family, assisting in every way possible to ensure a successful restart for the Raiders and a legacy for the future Steyns,” said Leigh.
