Brandon is an all-round sports fanatic
Whether he is fast bowling on the cricket pitch or playing a round of golf, Brandon Scullard is an all-round sports and fitness fanatic.
Brandon Michael Scullard is only 24-years-old but holds his own as a stout player among his teammates and Sunfoil Dolphins fans.
He is known as a right-hand batsman and right-arm fast bowler that packs a strong punch on the pitch.
Brandon debuted at the Western Province v KwaZulu-Natal match in Cape Town from September to October 2011 where they scored 89.1 overs and the team won by 8 wickets.
The fast bowler made his List A debut in 2012 playing a game against Griqualand West in Kimberley in January that year. The Dolphins won by 32 runs. He took 16 wickets with an average of 21.43 for all of his List A matches.
The first class cricketer played in the Sunfoil Dolphins squad for the 2015 Africa T20 Cup against Boland in January 2016 where the team won by 6 wickets (with 2 balls remaining).
He has 35 first class and 19 T20 matches under his belt with an average of 11.59 for First Class and 12.50 for T20 matches. He averages a wicket once every 27.70 runs in the longer format, while in T20s he picks up a scalp every 28.26 runs.
Brandon’s love for sport doesn’t end off the pitch, he enjoys a good game of golf with friends in his spare time. Family is also an important part of his life and he admits to spending a lot of his free time hanging around the braai.
