Grey College wins Top Schools Tennis Fest

Kearsney College came fifth in the competition.

GREY College from Bloemfontein won the weekend’s 20th annual Top Schools Tennis Festival, hosted by Kearsney College, beating Paul Roos from Stellenbosch five matches to four in the final.

The competitive team from Pretoria Boys’ High placed third, ahead of Affies. Hosts, Kearsney, beat Clifton College to take fifth and sixth places respectively.

Played in perfect weather conditions, the three-day invitational festival provided superb quality tennis from some of the country’s top school tennis players.

Representing Kearsney were Brad Porteous, Matthew Bentley, Mihir Singh, Kyle Koenig, Kade Mindry, Brendan Bosman and Cuan Crocker.

Once again Sportsman’s Warehouse and Wilson were generous with their sponsorship, and Illovo Sugar and Oxford provided product prizes.
