Queensurgh Harriers host second league

The second event of the KZNA Cross-Country League takes place without a hitch.

THE second event of the KZNA Cross-Country league was hosted by the Queensburgh Harriers at the Queenburgh BMX track on Saturday 3 May. 
On the day 250 athletes raced in the event and 105 of those athletes competed in the first league. This means that 145 new athletes competed in the event.
Mbhasobhi Gumede (19:20) and Caylee Ellero (16:04) finished first in the U17 boys race (6km) and U17 girls race (4km), respectively. 
The ladies 30 to 34 (4km) race was won by Teneal Featherby (1604), of Pinetown Districts Athletics Club, while the Men’s 30 to 34 (8km) race was won by Lucky Madlala (24:50), of Queensburgh Harriers Club. Sithulisiwe Zhou (28:17) and Joseph Munywoki (35:20) won the senior ladies (8km) and senior men (12km) races, respectively.
