Community swings away at charitable golf day
Forty eight residents from the greater Durban area showed their support by joining in on the Community Chest's golf day.

THE Community Chest, a local NPO, hosted a successful golf day last Friday in the spirit of raising funds for the organisation and as a social gathering for many of its generous donors.
The last time a golf day was hosted by the foundation was eight years ago.
The two main prizes up for grabs were a weekend stay at the Springbok Lodge at the Nambiti Private Game Reserve and a weekend stay at the Benjamin Hotel.
“I would like to thank our generous sponsors and the golfers who have pledged their support to stage a successful golf day.
”A special thank you must also be made to the Kloof Country Club for allowing us to make use of their superb venue,” said Fadeela Deedat, the public relations manager for Community Chest.
