Celebs team up for show jump

Don't miss the Celebrity Jump and Driver event, which is part of the FEI World Dressage Challenge at Durban Shongweni Club from 14 to 17 October.

GET ready for the FEI World Dressage Challenge at Durban Shongweni Club from 14 to 17 October.

This is a competition in which Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and South Africa participate to reach a final overall international result. There are two international judges flying in to officiate.

Land Rover Durban are hosting a corporate lunch for 120 guests as well as the Celebrity Jump and Drive competition on Wednesday 16 October. Supersport TV will also be there to film the event.

Some of the celebrity drivers include John Smit (former Springbok rugby captain), Hank McGregor (world champion canoeist), Russell Wood (world champion motor cyclist), Megan Coleman (former Miss SA), Matthew Moffatt (gold medallist at World Transplant Games). The drivers will team up with show jumpers who jump a course of eight fences at 1.10m high with prize money of R10 000 to the winners.

This really promises to be an exceptionally fun and entertaining day with lots of well-known personalities being interviewed for Supersport TV during the course of the day.
