A whole new ‘storey’ for Jamie-Lee

Letter to the Editor - week ending Friday, 2 April 2021.

Jamie-Lee Hiscock has received so much feedback from the Hillcrest community since the article on the return of the dollhouse to its correct owners was printed. The Hillcrest community has been absolutely amazing and wonderful.

Many people have offered to replace Jamie-Lee’s dollhouse and Vanessa from Nest Design in Kloof gave Jamie one of their beautiful dollhouses and Rob from Laser Craftz has offered to make her some furniture for her house.

Barbara at the Kloof and Highway SPCA offered her a voucher for the SPCA and I have received a number of calls and emails from amazing people in the community offering doll houses.

I really do appreciate it and Jamie and her sister are over the moon with her new doll’s house and furniture. Thank you to the community in Hillcrest for being so generous, kind and thoughtful.

J Hiscock
