I am looking for a potty for a Victorian commode I have just restored.
I rescued the very old commode from being dumped. It had had been badly damaged by termites losing all four legs and some of the panels. I repaired the panels and added Queen Ann style front legs made of oak and replaced the thin felt cushions around the base with elephant hide.
The original potty was a Royal Doulton china chamber pot, which the commode owner was understandably reluctant to part with. So I need a potty for the commode! Is there someone out there who has a potty sitting under their bed one they wish to dump? Send an email to: marbuck@telkomsa.net
