Licence renewal pleasant at Mariannhill

"We were out before 10am."

LAST Friday I took my daughter to renew her licence and would like to share our pleasant experience at their Mariannhill branch.

We arrived about 6.50am to around 100 people in front of us.

The guard was very pleasant and answered questions when asked, also ensured that everyone knew the procedure and were in the correct queue, this he did on numerous occasions before the doors opened.

Once the doors opened, around 40 people were allowed in and once they were settled, they sent in another batch until all the seats were filled in the room where the finger prints and eye tests were taking place.

In this room there was a lady handing out the renewal forms.

I would like to commend this lady by the name of Esther Mbatha, she was amazing, running from one room to another helping out wherever she could and answering questions when people asked, in a pleasant manner.

She gave us the impression that she cared that everyone got through the procedure as soon as possible.

We were out before 10am, partly because I sat in the cashier queue while my daughter was waiting to have the eye test and fingerprints, and this super woman’s efficient and caring manner.
