Cell masts are not even for the birds

" I have seen birds on telephone poles, electrical poles and high voltage structures never on a cell mast."

I HAVE been to the SASSA office in Pinetown, 43 Kings Road, adjacent to Chester Butcheries.

The entrance does not look like the one shown on page six of the Highway Mail dated 15 June 2018.

Where is the office shown?

I have been a birder since long before cell phones were introduced to South Africa. I have seen birds on telephone poles, electrical poles and high voltage structures never on a cell mast.

So if they steer clear of cell masts there must be something that drives them away.
