WE live next to the Umbilo River.
Earlier last week, as we turned into Heaton Nicholls Drive heading towards the M7, we came across this unmarked truck, parked at the bridge, clearly dumping something into the river.
We have endless problems with illegal dumping in the Umbilo river but these guys were pretty brazen.
The fact that the truck has no company logo or contact details on makes it even more suspicious.
Now this might be completely innocent, perhaps they were there for a good reason and just doing their “job”.
Still worrying none the less.
