Breath of dreaded Hillcrest Pong assaults senses

"What a shame that our lovely area is subjected to the nose stinging aroma."

IT has always been such a pleasure in retirement, with no more work related stress to endure, to welcome in a new day by flinging open the doors and taking in a deep breath of morning air, only to be assaulted by the dreaded ‘Hillcrest Pong’.

What a shame that our lovely area is subjected to the nose stinging aroma, which on most days occurs as regular as clockwork from around 6am until 8am.

It has often been said that there are only two things that are certain in life -‘Taxes and Death’ – perhaps we should include the ‘Hillcrest Pong’.
