THE following parks in Pinetown are an absolute mess (with rubbish and litter): the park opposite 45 Sunnyside Lane; the empty grassed area next door to 45 Sunnsyside Lane; at the end of the lane -next to Steers and opposite Pinecrest Mall; and 45 Sunnyside Lane itself is a total mess.
There is rubbish and debris everywhere, plus vagrants living in these areas.
We pay our rates and taxes – only to live in a pig sty.
Can the municipality please sort this out.
Every Saturday and Sunday people have ‘parties’ in the parks and no patrols are made to check that it is under control and every Monday it looks like a rubbish dump. People also drink in the parks which is illegal – this is evident from all the empty alcohol bottles strewn around.
Can the Parks Department please attend to tidying this up and ensure that regular patrols are conducted.
