Knit to keep poor warm

"Wool of all sorts and cash donations to buy wool, are welcome."

AS a member of the Pinetown Presbyterian Church BusyPresby team, I am most grateful for the help and support we receive from many people in the Pinetown area.

Our group knits to keep the less fortunate warm in the cold weather. Wool of all sorts and cash donations to buy wool are welcome. Then we have the good ladies in retirement homes who knit jerseys, bed socks, beanies, mittens and many strips for blankets. (Double knit wool is best for these).

More kind folk find the time to join the blanket strips and crochet round the edges to finish them off smartly. A very big thank you to all the caring people who make time to help others in this way.
