IN response to Julius Hugo’s letter, Read The Bible for answers published in last week’s Highway Mail.
I cannot agree more with the heading.
However, as to the content of the letter criticising national and international calls for prayers for world peace, I am wondering which Bible Mr Hugo reads.
My Bible says the following, “If my people who are call by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) and, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving present your requests before God.” (Philippians 4:6).
If you have solutions Mr Hugo let us hear them.
If they are Biblical, as you suggest, why don’t you share them so that we may achieve the peace we all so much desire.
