I HAVE been a counsellor at Kloof High School for more than 15 years now.
I recently lost my husband of 50 years of age to Melanoma Cancer – a battle he bravely fought for a year and a half and finally succumbed to on 18 February.
I want to publicly thank the principal and her senior management team for their incredible support, empathy and understanding during this very difficult, prolonged period, friends and colleagues on the staff who have been there for me from the start and the 2016 and 2017 prefect groups, which I run, for their never-ending support.
Kloof High School is a family and it is a family that cares.
I am so proud to be part of this “family”.
