EDITOR – I would like to welcome Michelle Dennis to the editorship of the Queensburgh News.
Having resided in Escombe for 42 years, I have seen the importance of the Queensburgh News in highlighting important local issues which the mainstream press won’t cover.
With her experience, especially in Community Newspapers I, and I am sure the residents of Queensburgh, will look forward to her positive input. Her predecessor at the Queensburgh News, Robyn Scott, did this for many years.
The article introducing Michelle did not mention what happened to Robyn which is a shame as she always had the interests of Queensburgh at heart, and I would like to wish her well.

Former editor, Robyn Scott, officially retired at the end of December last year. While a detailed article of her retirement was extensively published on the Highway Mail newspaper and website, the Queensburgh News was unfortunately not able to do so as its last issue was published by Friday, 16 December.
