Increase in “fake disabled beggars” in Pinetown

EDITOR – I feel compelled to write and let the good hearted citizens know of the increase in “fake disabled beggars”. The young man who begs at the robot opposite the Pinetown Post Office on the Knowles side has varying degrees of “disability” depending on the day. He has now taken to crying as well.

There is nothing wrong with him and I have seen him walking normally counting his profit from people’s sympathy. Another fake is the fellow who drags his one foot and bobs his head – some days more than another.

Surely if one has a genuine disability, one could claim for a disability grant?
