EDITOR – We, the family of Brett Oscroft who was killed in a hit and run accident in August 2014 in the upper highway area, would like to thank the community for all the support we were given as we tried to turn the site of the crash from an area of sadness and despair into a celebration of Brett’s life.
People stopped to give us encouragement, and some even returned with plants for the site. Thank you too for the patience shown as we worked in the area. We are so grateful for the contributions and want you to know that Brett was well worth it.
Thank you again, it meant so much to our family. We hope to place a memorial stone in the garden a little later on this year.
