Local non-profit for families launches new building

Focus on the Family is up and running in their new building, and they continue to serve the community.

IN continuation of their work, the non-profit organisation, Focus on the Family Africa, recently officially launched their new property in Botha’s Hill overlooking the serene Valley of a Thousand Hills.
As a non-profit organisation and a registered public benefit organisation, Focus on the Family Africa has been serving families across the continent since opening its doors in 1992. They have provided care, advice, support and encouragement to families at every stage of life, responding to the many real issues families face and offering sound and practical guidance based on Christian principles.

Speaking on the launch of their new buildings, CEO Graeme Schnell said their own space anticipates them saving significantly each year, allowing them to invest more in their core mission of helping families thrive.

“Our new home, blessed with breathtaking views, serves as a daily reminder of God’s grace and the inspiration He provides. This serene setting offers us the space and resources to expand our programmes, fostering an environment conducive to reflection and growth. Our mission remains steadfast – to nurture healthy, thriving families,” he said.

The organisation provides youth programmes that assist child-headed households and provides care and resources for orphaned and vulnerable children to foster a nurturing and empowering environment for all. “Our new location strengthens our capacity to deliver these vital services and continue our impactful work,” said Schnell.

To join Focus on the Family Africa’s initiative, the public is invited to join this celebration and visit their bookstore at the new location: 116 Old Main Road, Botha’s Hill.
