KZN Cerebral Palsy Association’s fun day spreads cheer

The association hosted the fun day to support and uplift the children while showing them that they can live a fun life.

IT was an exciting morning at the KZN Cerebral Palsy Association as they hosted a fun day on Saturday.

The learners were grouped into three teams, the Superheroes (yellow team), the Champions (blue team) and the Warriors (green team).

They competed in games such as ball dash; hoola hoop with twist; relay; and skittles while being cheered by families and friends.

There was also something for the parents to take part in – a balloon race.

Linda Naik, senior care officer at the association, said that the day was all about inclusion and the children having lots of fun.

“We support and uplift our children to show them they can live a fun life and be unstoppable.”

Established in 1969, the KZN Cerebral Palsy Association is a registered NPO that endeavours to enhance the functional independence and quality of people living with cerebral palsy.
