Pinetown SAPS issues alternative numbers

The station has apologised for the technical glitch that has disrupted the phone lines, and they have issued alternative numbers.

PINETOWN SAPS has issued alternative numbers as the station is currently experiencing technical difficulties with their telephone lines.

Communications officer Jennifer Naidu apologised for any inconvenience this may have caused and said their team is working tirelessly to resolve the issue.

“We have collaborated with the necessary departments to expedite the repair process.”

In the meantime, the station encouraged the public to reach out to them through the alternative contact numbers. For radio control, the public can contact 10111, for Joint Operation Centre (JOC), contact 082 557 8282 and for Community Service Centre (CSC) landlines, the public can contact 031 325 6794/95.

Naidu assured the public that serving the community remains their top priority.

“We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. We will keep you updated on the status of our telephone lines and look forward to being fully operational soon.”

She added that the following offices will not be reachable telephonically due to the technical difficulties:

– PDP/Collisions (Accidents)
– DFO (Designated Firearm Officer)

“However, alternative contact arrangements have been made. For all other urgent matters, please contact Vispol Commander Colonel Pillay on 083 779 1885. For gender-based violence matters, contact either the alternative CSC offices as per the above numbers or the Vispol Commander, Colonel Pillay, on 083 779 1885,” reported Naidu.
