Modelling at 14 to world finalist

Thando MaMbokazi-Dlomo has held a few pageant titles in the past, and she said that entering various pageants helps her with her passion for empowering women and young girls.

PINETOWN resident Thando MaMbokazi-Dlomo has been announced as one of the finalists for Supreme Queen World 2024.

The pageant gives women with dual citizenship, and those who reside in foreign countries, an opportunity to participate in Supreme Queen World 2024 pageant.

MaMbokazi Dlomo will be representing Mexico. This is due to having resided in Mexico for almost four years as she was supporting her spouse, ambassador Dennis Dlomo, who was accredited to Mexico among other countries.

“I was 14 years old when I attended a modelling grooming course. Modelling instilled confidence in me and has opened many doors for me,” she said.

Not new to the modelling world, MaMbokazi-Dlomo has held a few pageant titles in the past, and she said that entering various pageants helps her with her passion for empowering women and young girls.

She said the competition is for married, single, divorced and widowed women between the ages of 20 to 55 years old.

The finalists include participants from South Africa, Portugal and Russia. The crowning of Supreme Queen World 2024 will take place on August 3 at Indaba Hotel, Fourways, in Johannesburg.

The criteria for a finalist is to get 10 000 votes from the public.
