Find hidden gems at SPCA’s new thrift shop

THE Kloof & Highway SPCA has opened a thrift shop at The Mushroom Farm off Kassier Road.

Kloof SPCA’s Brigitte Ferguson said the shop is next to their Reading Rooster Book which is also situated at The Mushroom Farm.

“The shop will be open seven days a week to ensure we do our best to capture the market that we need in order to succeed.”

She said that every day is a struggle financially for The Kloof & Highway SPCA.

“We continue to receive no government funding, yet the animals who need us increase daily,” said Ferguson.

She invited the public to visit the new shop and see what hidden gems they may find. The shop offers clothes, shoes, antiques and collectibles as well as art.

The public is welcome to drop off second-hand goods they would like to donate.
