THAT Guys Autoworx in Pinetown is inviting the community to their fundraiser car wash on Saturday, May 18. The funds are for a cancer patient who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Follicular Lymphoma.
“Her medical aid has sent an email that they are not covering anything for her cancer. Whilst in hospital, she has also picked up pneumonia, and they also found out that she has partial kidney and heart failure. We are trying to get as many people on board, and whatever funds we can gather on the day would be paid directly to her/her family to contribute to her current medical bills,” said That Guys Autoworx CEO Cohan Kok.

Working towards this goal, the store will be washing cars for R80 per car. Furthermore, there will be a raffle ticket sale for R30.
“The raffle tickets are R30 for one ticket and R50 for two. There will also be a lucky draw, and the winner can win two tickets to the Gas Motor Show, which we have sponsored. We will also be selling some of the company’s merchandise to help raise some funds.
“We also have IndyGo Tyres on board, and they have sponsored a few wheel-balancings, alignments and rotations, which we will either include in the raffle or maybe auction off.
“Candey Cool has sponsored two air con re-gasses which will be used as second and third-place prizes for the raffle. We will also be selling some wors rolls and drinks, and all profits will be donated to the family,” said Kok.
The fundraiser will take place at That Guys Autoworx premises on 14 Livingstone Road, Pinetown, from 08:00.
