SPCA supporters tackle trail-run fundraiser

There was lots of excitement as runners and their furry companions joined the Kloof and Highway SPCA trail run.

THE Kloof and Highway SPCA, with Hill’s Pet Nutrition as the title sponsor, held a Valentine’s Day trail run at Fig Tree Farm on Sunday, February 18.

It was a great morning with runners, walkers and dogs taking part. The misty weather did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm, and everyone had the most enjoyable morning.

“Thank you to Fig Tree Farm for providing such a perfect venue and their staff for their professionalism and service. Thank you to Dean and Des Wight from My Beloved Long Runs and their volunteers who helped with the trail and general organisation and input, and lastly, the wonderfully talented Dave Imrie whose music created just the right atmosphere,” said Ferguson.
