As it is a tradition for fans to throw rugby balls for the team members to sign, a fan in the Upper Highway area is devastated as their ball did not find its way back to them after they threw it to the team.

They took to the Upper Highway Info Facebook group to ask the community to help them look for their ball.

”If anyone picked up a Springbok Maxed rugby ball with the name James on it, thrown back by the Bokke around Delcairn Centre, between 1904 and Engen, please let me know. My son had strapped a permanent marker with Sellotape to it to get a signature or two and is totally devastated to lose his ball. He ran after the bus for ages without any success in retrieving it. Please, Highway, let me know,” read the post.

Anyone who has information can comment on Karen Rothwell’s post with the information on the Upper Highway Info Facebook group.
