3 bodies found around Pinetown, police seek relatives

Police are urging relatives to come forward and claim the bodies.

PINETOWN SAPS are looking for relatives of three people who were found dead around the Pinetown area.

According to Pinetown SAPS communications officer Jennifer Naidu, the first body was found on May 21.

“The decomposed body of a man was found by municipal workers cutting grass near the M13 off-ramp towards Pinetown.”

Naidu said the second body of a black man was found on June 10 at the corner of Pioneer and Wellington roads in Kloof.

According to Naidu, the man is believed to have been 25 years old.

“He wore a blue shirt, grey trousers, a blue jacket and black shoes. The body was found next to the railway line with no visible injuries.”

The third decomposed body of a black woman was found on October 13 in the bush along the M19, Blair Atholl Road, with no visible injuries.

Relatives or anyone with information that can assist the police locate family members is urged to contact the investigating officer Warrant Officer Pillay on 031 3255130/5023 or Crime Stop on 0860010111.
