Two people killed in N3 truck accident
Motorist have been advised to use alternative routes as the scene is still active.
TWO people have been killed following a truck accident in Richmond Road, N3 Durban Bound this morning, Thursday August 10.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson said the truck overturned, coming to rest on its roof.
“Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the truck trailer on its head with three people entrapped. Two people were declared deceased on scene by paramedics. The third person sustained minor injuries and was transported to hospital,” reported Jamieson.

He said it is not clear what caused the truck to overturn. Paramedics and other rescue teams are still on scene trying to clear the area and remove the truck.
Jamieson said the recovery is said to take some time and advised motorists to avoid the route until traffic has cleared.
