Church Alliance for Social Transformation hosts golf day to raise funds

The funds raised will go towards CAST's initiatives to equip and empower various communities.

THE Church Alliance for Social Transformation (CAST) Golf Day Fundraiser on Friday, June 9 welcomed 100 golfers and included many local sponsors from the Highway area who contributed in support of the non-profit.

The sunshine and fair weather made for a fantastic day on the course at Kloof Country Club, perfect for seasoned golfers and those new to the sport.

The funds raised from the event will go towards CAST’s initiatives to equip and empower their 14 partner churches in KwaZulu-Natal to serve their communities through flood-rebuilding projects, trauma counselling and flood relief.

CAST thanked everyone who supported this event and is excited to continue partnering with the Highway community to move beyond charity and bring transformation to local communities.
