Family Picnic Day with St Benedict was a joyful time
In recognition of Mother's Day and Father's Day, the school hosted a Foundation Phase Family Picnic and invited moms, dads and other caregivers to spend the morning at the school with their precious little people.
IN the second term, St Benedict School celebrated both Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day during one special occasion.
The morning started off with a series of fun activities which the parents and children had to complete together, including puzzle-building, making things with playdough, storytime, drawing, construction and an outdoor maze.
Once all the tasks had been completed, the families then picnicked together in the school gardens. The focus of the morning was on ‘taking time out from our busy lives and spending quality time with the people who matter most’.
