The waiting is almost over! More of what you love, for less

The new store will be the largest food and grocery retail space in the area. With a total floor space of 4 400m2, it’s almost three times the size of the existing Hillcrest Oxford Freshmarket, with a significantly expanded grocery selection laid out across 22 aisles, along with a massive frozen foods, bakery and dairy offering. The airy, wide-volume aisles are floored with stylish imported Italian Terrazzo tiles (each one weighing 47kg) throughout, making for a classy, comfortable shopping experience, complemented by the convenience of 28 checkout tills and two floors of free parking.

One of the main attractions of the new store, situated at 142 Inanda Road (opposite the Watercrest Mall), is likely to be the phenomenal butchery section, including a 25m deli service counter where expert Oxford butchers will select and cut your choice of A-grade meat to your exact requirements.

Over the years, Oxford has built an impressive reputation around its fresh fruit and veg selection, bought daily from the Durban fresh produce market (or sustainably sourced from local growers). The new Waterfall store takes this to the next level in a vast fruit and vegetable hall offering quality- and value-conscious customers an unparalleled selection of the freshest of the fresh.

Expand your rand

Co-owner and CEO Brett Latimer comments, “We’re really excited to be making the new store a reality for the Waterfall community at last and can’t wait to bring the Oxford promise of expanding every shopper’s rands with unbeatable quality to families who may have never visited us before. We look forward to exceeding Waterfall’s wildest expectations in terms of value, quality and service throughout this, the latest addition to the Oxford family.”

Fantastic birthday and opening deals

With the opening of the new store and May being Oxford Freshmarket’s 11th birthday month, shoppers in every Oxford store can take part in the celebrations with the incredible deals running in all their stores from May 10 to 31.

Oxford Waterfall will be open Monday to Sunday from 06:00 to 19:00, with easy access from Inanda Road and ample free parking on two levels.
