New journal reflects on parenting journey
Author, Paul Bushell said the book serves as a gentle space for parents to unwind, reflect, grow and feel encouraged on the parenting journey.
THE launch of Paul Bushell’s parenting journal was held at the Adele Catherine boutique in Kloof. It was a lovely evening under the stars, celebrated by parents of all ages, proving that it takes a village to raise a child.
The local psychologist is an author, podcaster and speaker. He founded the #raisingkids brand in 2018, which includes books and resources for adults, teens and kids around emotional intelligence.

“Raising children is a wonderfully tough journey. You are doing better than you think. This book serves as a gentle space for parents to unwind, reflect, grow and feel encouraged on the parenting journey,” said the Upper Highway resident.
Bushell is also the co-founder of the Kindness Can movement, an initiative that shares the joy and power of kindness.
“It contributes to the global movement to encourage kindness to others around you, your environment and also to self.”
He added that his latest parenting journal is a gift for parents of all ages wanting to reflect, restore, remember and grow on their parenting journey.
“The journal is gentle and inviting, and is beautifully illustrated by internationally acclaimed art tidy Victoria Verbaan,” he said.
