Sithembile Buthelezi (KwaDabeka) – I don’t make any New Year’s resolutions anymore because I never stick to them. I have hopes, though, of bettering myself and growing as a person.
It is that time of the year where many people make New Year’s resolutions with the hope to better themselves. It has become a tradition for most people, but do they really carry them out?
The Highway Mail spoke to a few residents asking them if they do fulfil their resolutions, and this is what they had to say.
Denelle Subramoney (Westville) – I always make New Year’s resolutions, but I never carry them out, but I will this year. My resolutions this year include being healthier and losing a bit of weight. I also want to increase my financial status.
I always try to fulfil my resolutions, but for some reason, it never lasts, but this year, I am hoping to look after my health more.
