THE Waterfall Methodist Church is hosting its second Christmas market. Families are invited to visit the market to have fun outdoors and prepare for Christmas.
Apart from the fun the market is meant to bring, Reverend Alan Dives said the primary motivation for the market is to support worthy charities in the area and further afield, eg, Holah Baby Home in Crestholme and Focus on the Family in Hillcrest.

“With the church site being on the outskirts of Waterfall, we are also promoting ourselves to the community. We have facilities the community is welcome to hire or use rent-free if they are an NPO or community organisation. The market also provides a venue for stallholders to sell their goods. Many are unemployed and rely on such markets to make a living,” he said.
Sold at the market will be food, clothing, jewellery, kids’ toys, arts and crafts and much more. The market will be held on Saturday, 26 November from 10:00 to 16:00.
