Carnival makes for a joyful day at Kloof school

The community of St Mary’s DSG Kloof are grateful to all the people who were present in their carnival event.

IT was high spirits for the girls of St Mary’s DSG Kloof as a carnival was hosted on the school’s grounds, on August 28. The school welcomed girls, parents, staff and the many visitors from the community onto the campus for a day filled with entertainment for the whole family.

The school’s marketing manager, Michelle Di Marco, described the day as having a fantastic vibe with lots of happy little faces and families having a good time. Kids enjoyed the many inflatable rides, games, crafts, face-painting and train rides, and treats like candyfloss, ice creams, pancakes and slush puppies while the adults enjoyed the range of local shopping, live entertainment and took time out in the book nook and tea garden.

“A huge thank you to the St Mary’s Parent’s Society Carnival Committee, the St Mary’s grounds and maintenance teams, HR and Operations and all the teaching staff and parents who were involved in the many hours of planning and the execution that went into making the day such a success. It was a wonderful day with family and friends, and we’re sure lots of special memories were made,” said Di Marco.
