Two vehicles collide on Sander Road

TWO drivers have sustained serious injuries after a head-on collision on Sander Road in New Germany around 21:30 last night.

ALS Paramedics reported that they were called to the scene when they discovered that a taxi and a bakkie had collided head-on.

“Both drivers had sustained serious injuries, and Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise them on the scene before they were both transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required,” they reported. 

They said the events leading up to the collision are unknown, however, SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
