Held at the Kloof Country Club, the golf day is aimed to develop a culture of cooperation and support between members of the South African Defence Force Association.
“The day is to support and fund the organisation with sponsors by establishing effective partnerships for delivery of services to the veterans. The aim of a charity golf event within the SADFA family is for ‘Nonnetjieseend’ – the gathering of military veterans’ spouses to support each other – and the sharing of past experiences,” stated the organisation.

The organisation said the funds raised on this day go to the SADFA Unit Trust Fund to help lift the veterans’ quality of life by looking after their welfare.
The great spirit of the participants and the fun had on the day made it a huge success. The committee extends their gratitude to all the sponsors as their contribution played a huge part in fulfilling the aim of the day. “Without the players, the day would not have been successful,” they added.
