Glamour reigns as matrics weather storm

The Hillcrest High School class of 2024 attends their matric dance.

HEAVY downpours and mist did not deter the Hillcrest High School Class of 2024 Grade 12s from enjoying their matric dance on Saturday. The cavalcade of vehicles, from luxury sports cars to chariots pulled by friends, was greeted with great excitement on arrival at the red carpet which led into the CM Girvin Multipurpose Centre at the school.

Hillcrest High School Principal Denise Knight greeted each of the glamorously dressed guests at the door before welcoming everyone formally and inviting the Student Leadership Team and their partners to take to the dance floor to get the party started.

“There was a wonderful vibe, and it was obvious that everyone thoroughly enjoyed their evening. The DJs were kept busy with a packed dance floor, with breaks only taken to enjoy the three-course dinner. This was most definitely a night that the Class of 2024 will remember fondly in the future,” reported Knight.
