Support Westville baby home

The Baby House Westville is thankful to the community for their continuous support.

SERVING as a beacon of hope in child safety, the Westville Baby House is appealing for the community to continue supporting them in 2024.

Currently housing seven infants, the baby house is a safe home for abandoned babies.
“Our passion is to care for and nurture the precious babies who are placed with us until such time as they can be reunited with their birth families or adopted by forever families. We strive to create a safe and loving home environment for our babies to grow and thrive in,” stated the baby home.

Starting the new year, The Baby House Westville founder, Terri Wentzel, said they are grateful to the community for their continuous support. “We rely on donations from the community. We have our wish list up on our Facebook page: Friends of the Baby House Westville,” said Wentzel.

Wentzel said volunteers and visitors are still allowed to visit but have to make an appointment. “We have an online booking system that helps to regulate the number of visits. This helps the little ones to be better prepared and not overwhelmed,” she said.

Furthermore, the baby house said that on their 2024 project list is to provide a better environment for their stay-in-house mothers. “These ladies are always here, taking care of our babies 24 hours a day, and we appreciate them and their dedication,” said Wentzel.

For this project, the organisation said they will need three pillows, single bed sheets, comforters and curtain rails.
