WIN: Tickets to this year’s KZN Koi Show
This year’s KZN Koi Show is hosted by the KZN Chapter of the South African Koi Keepers Society (SAKKS).
KOI enthusiasts and lovers will be spoiled for choice at this year’s KZN Koi Show in Shongweni.
Umgeni Park resident Gerard Loumeau, who is a member of the KZN Chapter of the South African Koi Keepers Society (SAKKS), has been keeping koi for more than 20 years and is one of this year’s organisers and exhibitors.
He is aiming to showcase some of his prized koi at this year’s show.

“One of the best things about being involved in this show is sharing our know-how and rubbing shoulders with other people who have a similar passion. Some of the top koi aficionados will be attending the premier event – showcasing their best show koi,” he said.
He added the event is about offering the general public an opportunity to speak and learn from koi dealers, experts and keepers from across the province.
“As always, we hope Durbanites come out and support us in their numbers. Come and experience the magic of koi. For those interested in attending, we will be selling tickets at the entrance to the show,” he said.

Caxton Durban is giving away 10 tickets – each ticket admits two adults and two children – to this year’s Absolute Asphalt KwaZulu-Natal Koi Show.
The event, hosted by the Koi KZN Chapter, takes place at the Shongweni Club on Saturday, July 15 (08:00 to 17:00) and Sunday, July 16 (09:00 to 15:00). The club is situated on the corner of Cliffdale Road and Kassier Road. Please note that winners will have to collect their tickets from the Highway Mail offices in New Germany (115 Escom Road) by Friday, July 14 by 15:00.
