HILLCREST High School was happy to host the annual Derby Day after five years. Competing with Kloof High School on the day was a joyous occasion packed with different sporting activities between the two schools.
The school reported that the day was enjoyed by many, including parents, staff and management from both schools.

“A wonderful spirit of ebullience was evident from both schools, and some tough battles were fought out on the courts and fields, with Hillcrest High School taking the win and winning all 1st team games. Twenty-one games were played, and 15 wins went to Hillcrest High School, 5 wins went to Kloof High School and there was one draw,” they said.
Mr Patrick Windsor, head of sport at HHS, extended his gratitude to everyone who participated on the day. “It was great to see the community support the youth of tomorrow. To all the Hillcrest High and Kloof High teams, well done for giving it your best on the day. A special mention to the Hillcrest High family – well done to you all. I look forward to Derby Day 2024 at Kloof High.”
