Bingo finds his forever home

Bingo was recently adopted from the Kloof and Highway SPCA after he was surrendered to them by his previous owner.

THE Kloof and Highway SPCA bid farewell to Bingo who stole their hearts from the moment he was taken in. The adorable, fluffy Bingo was surrendered by his owner at the beginning of July when they could no longer take care of him.

Kloof and Highway SPCA manager Barbara Patrick said Bingo has made pleasing progress since his admission.

“Bingo was matted, underweight, and lethargic but still had a wagging tail and a happy face. He was sent up to our clinic where our vet Dr Bangay found that he had biliary, and he was quickly put onto a drip and given the necessary medication. The following morning, Bingo had perked up and eaten his breakfast and was given a trim and a warm bath. He clearly felt much better, and almost immediately, his big personality started to shine through,” she said.

The SPCA was happy to hand Bingo to his new owner after just under a month of looking for his forever home.
