THE Keep Pinetown Beautiful Association (KPBA) is calling on residents to join them in their next clean-up, taking place tomorrow, Saturday, 16 July, starting at the Sandy Centre at 08:30.
The KPBA is a newly formed non-profit organisation with the mission of making Pinetown a safe, beautiful and prosperous neighbourhood.
The association had its last clean-up in May which was a success, with over 70 people participating, and the participants filling over 100 refuse bags.

Connie Rogers of the Association said the next clean-up will include Joseph Gumede Road near Pinetown Girls’ High School, and Stappleton Road.
Rogers encouraged the community in Pinetown to join them in restoring their neighbourhood. “We all live together; it is important for us to preserve the quality of our place – how it looks and feels. While we cannot force people to help us, the more hands we have, the better,” she said.
