Man shot dead at Hillcrest restaurant

The motive of the shooting is unknown at the moment.

A MAN has been arrested by Hillcrest SAPS after shooting a customer at the Christians Village Shopping Centre’s Mugg & Bean this morning.

It is alleged that the victim was shot by another customer sitting at the same table as him.

The Christians Village Shopping Centre confirmed the incident and sent out condolences to the family and to the shoppers who witnessed this devastating scene.

“Christians Village is open for trade, and the scene has been isolated,” read the Facebook post.
