Hillcrest matrics enjoy winter wonderland

Hillcrest High School learners create unforgettable memories at matric dance.

HILLCREST High School’s new multi-purpose centre was transformed to create a winter wonderland theme for the annual matric dance. It seemed even the weather played along with the theme, as it was a cold and rainy evening.

Despite the weather, the Grade12s looked breath-taking as they stepped out onto the red carpet.

The school’s marketing manager, Nicky Kidgell said organisers, Carol Edy and Megan McLaughlin worked extremely hard with their team of volunteers, to ensure that it was a success and a special event for the matric learners.

“The students made the most of the night and it was wonderful to be able to host it properly once again,” she said.

Acting principal, Denise Knight said that the evening was a tremendous success and thanked everyone involved.
