Almost 200 boys registered to compete in three different age groups: U8, U11 and open.

The event was spearheaded by Damian Bradley, father of Grade 2 learner, Ben and owner of B-Active Events.

Parents came to support and cheer on their sons and the boys gave of their best. A group of 36 Kearsney College boys came to assist and professional triathlete, Donovan Van Gelder, was a special guest on the day.

“The energy on the day was palpable and there was an amazing vibe,” said school’s marketer, Roxanne Houareau.

Every boy ended their race with an ‘H’ medal that is made of wood.

Houareau congratulated Luke Goodenough, Blake Beaumont and Matthew Cruickshank who won in their age groups.
