OVER the weekend of April 1, 2, and 3, between 10:00 to 16:00 the Wally and Molly Eco Adventure will host a fun environmental weekend.
Author Dawn Booth will have her miniature mice on exhibit, as well as a variety of children’s activities. The event will have environmental information on display, including a slide show, from the Kloof Conservancy.
The Endangered Amphibian Programme of the Endangered Wildlife Trust will feature information on frogs. Each afternoon, BirdLife eThekwini will be present, and on Saturday morning, Nick Evans will deliver a discussion on snakes, and Pat McKrill will be there with some reptiles.

Organisers, Elizabeth Roux from Watercrest Mall and Booth said the overall aim of the event is to provide some environmental education for your children in a very fun way.

- What happened to Wally and Molly’s treasure hunt adventure? (around the mall)
- Recyclable arts and crafts
- Give a gift to someone
- Create a mask for a mouse
- Naturalist’s table
- Wildlife tracks in the area
- Display of a miniature mouse house
