Expected fuel price hike for April

If present market conditions remain and these increases are implemented, fuel prices will be driven to a new all time high.

ACCORDING to mid-month data from the Central Energy Fund, South African motorists will suffer more agony at the pump in April, as a significant increase in both petrol and diesel prices is anticipated.

The data covers the period from March 14, and indicates large rises for both petrol and diesel motorists, despite rising international petroleum costs due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
